Frank & Roze is a hospitality-driven coffee and culinary concept rooted in craft, connection, and thoughtful design. Founded in Denver, the brand was created to offer great coffee & food in spaces where people feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and remembered.

Founded by Brenda Godfrey, Frank & Roze began as a neighborhood café in the 9+CO community, built on a belief that everyday rituals — coffee, breakfast, a familiar face — can be elevated through intention, quality, and warmth. From the beginning, the brand has been defined by specialty coffee, a scratch kitchen, and a sensibility that blends approachability with refinement.

As the brand matured, so did its culinary ambition. That evolution deepened through a partnership with acclaimed Denver chef and restaurateur Tom Coohill, bringing a chef-driven perspective to the menu while preserving Frank & Roze’s core focus on simplicity, seasonality, and craft.

The opening of Frank & Roze’s Uptown location marks a new chapter for the brand — expanding the experience into a larger, design-forward café, private event space, and commissary kitchen. This location represents a more fully realized expression of the Frank & Roze vision: where coffee, food, design, and hospitality come together in a way that feels intentional, grounded, and distinctly welcoming.

Today, Frank & Roze continues to grow thoughtfully, guided by its founding philosophy — that meaningful hospitality, done well, has the power to brighten people’s days and build lasting community.

BRENDA GODFREY

Founder

Brenda Godfrey is the founder of Frank & Roze Coffee Co., a Denver-based hospitality brand rooted in craft, connection, and thoughtful design. With a background spanning specialty coffee, hospitality leadership, and retail development - Brenda brings a disciplined yet deeply human approach to building guest-centered brands.

She founded Frank & Roze with the belief that everyday rituals—coffee, food, conversation—can be elevated through quality, warmth, and attention to detail. Under her leadership, the brand has grown from a beloved neighborhood café into a more expansive, design-forward concept that thoughtfully integrates specialty coffee, a scratch kitchen, and curated hospitality experiences.

Brenda remains closely involved in shaping the brand’s vision, guest experience, and culture, guiding Frank & Roze’s growth with a steady focus on integrity, consistency, and meaningful human connection.

TOM COOHILL

Culinary Partner

Tom Coohill is the culinary partner behind Frank & Roze’s evolving food program. A classically trained French chef, Tom has been a respected presence in Denver’s dining community for decades, known for his ingredient-driven approach and thoughtful interpretation of French technique.

At Frank & Roze, Tom brings a chef-driven perspective to the menu while honoring the brand’s core values of simplicity, seasonality, and approachability. He has shaped a scratch kitchen program to complement the coffee experience and elevate everyday dining without losing warmth or ease.

Tom’s influence is felt not only in the food itself, but in the discipline, consistency, and care behind it — ensuring the culinary program grows in a way that is both intentional and true to the Frank & Roze ethos.

Diane Coohill

Private Events & Hospitality

Diane Coohill brings decades of fine-dining and hospitality experience to Frank & Roze, supporting private events and guest experience at the Uptown location. With a long career in restaurant leadership, Diane contributes a deep understanding of service, flow, and execution, helping ensure that events and gatherings reflect the same level of care, warmth, and attention to detail that define the Frank & Roze experience.

Stephen Rozmiarek

Finance, Technology & Brand

Stephen Rozmiarek oversees finance, technology, and digital infrastructure for Frank & Roze Coffee Co., and co-leads branding strategy. His role supports the brand’s operational consistency and long-term growth, ensuring that systems and structure reinforce the guest experience.
